"We have many of Glenn Pizer’s colorful oils and gouaches resulting from years of study and wide-ranging travels.
Pizer began his studies in Washington, D.C., with Robert D’Artista. He then moved to New York, where he studied briefly with Raphael Soyer. Becoming restless in the United States, he traveled to Mexico, where he studied at the Academia de Belles Artes in Guanajauto and the Art Institute in San Miguel de Allende. Pizer worked extensively with the great surrealist Benjamin Canas. For the past five years Pizer has spent his winters in Europe exploring the rich colors of the Mediterranean. Glenn Pizer has shown in Mexico, Spain, France, Atlanta, New York City and Washington, D.C. He is exclusively represented in Washington, D.C. by Galerie L’Enfant and the Calvert Gallery. Peter Colasante represented Glenn Pizer for much of Glenn’s early career. They remain friends."
